The ordination hall of Wat Sothon in Chachoengsao
Full day, Bangkok → Pattaya Private transfer & cultural tour

The Temples Road: Bangkok to Pattaya via Chachoengsao

Your transfer to Pattaya, turned into a day of discovery: the most revered temple of eastern Thailand, a century-old riverside market and the giant pink Ganesha of Wat Saman.

Private tour – only your group English-speaking guide; other languages on request

Tour overview

Instead of a plain two-hour transfer, travel from Bangkok to Pattaya through Chachoengsao, a quiet river town that most visitors never see. Your luggage stays in the vehicle all day. You visit Wat Sothon, home of the revered Luang Pho Sothon Buddha and of an ordination hall rising 85 metres, then stroll through Ban Mai, a 100-year-old wooden market on the Bang Pakong River. After lunch by the river, you see the giant reclining pink Ganesha at Wat Saman Rattanaram before continuing to your hotel in Pattaya or Jomtien. The tour also runs in the other direction, from Pattaya to Bangkok, and as a day trip from Bangkok.
