Tour overview
“Jurassic Park Tour” is a full-day excursion from Phuket or Khao Lak into the Khao Sok region. You combine a visit to a cave temple, canoeing or longtail boat among steep limestone cliffs, a traditional Thai lunch in a riverside jungle camp, light jungle trekking or a swim at a waterfall (depending on season) and a fruit tasting stop at a local plantation before returning to your hotel in the evening.
Day itinerary
Hotel pick-up (Phuket / Khao Lak)
Pick-up from your hotel and drive by minivan towards the Khao Sok area or the estuary, meet your guide and receive a short safety briefing.
Cave temple stop (Wat Tham)
Visit a cave temple surrounded by jungle, often home to friendly monkeys and offering beautiful viewpoints for photos.
Canoeing through the estuary – “mini Cheow Lan”
Relaxing canoe or longtail boat ride among limestone cliffs and tropical forest – scenery that many compare to a real-life “Jurassic Park”.
Traditional lunch at jungle camp
Local Thai lunch (usually included) at a simple jungle camp by the river, with freshly cooked dishes.
Light jungle trekking / waterfall swim
Short guided walk through the lush jungle or, depending on season, time to cool off at a nearby waterfall.
Fruit tasting & local plantation
Stop at a local plantation or homestead to taste seasonal tropical fruits and see daily life in the region.
Return drive to the hotel
Board the minivan and start the journey back towards Phuket or Khao Lak.
