“Classic Bangkok” is a full-day tour focused on three emblematic temples and the Grand Palace complex, combined with a relaxed cruise on the Thonburi canals (khlongs). It is ideal for your first or second day in the capital, when you want to see the essential sights with context, stories and plenty of time for photos.
Day itinerary
Hotel pick-up
Departure from your hotel in Bangkok and transfer towards the first temple of the day.
Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)
Guided visit of Wat Arun, recognisable by its central prang decorated with colourful porcelain. Photo stops by the river.
Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew
Exploration of the Grand Palace complex and Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – the ceremonial heart of the Thai monarchy.
Traditional Thai lunch
Lunch in a local restaurant, with classic Thai dishes adapted to your preferences (spiciness, vegetarian options, etc.).
Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha)
Visit to Wat Pho, which houses the immense Reclining Buddha and is considered the first public school of traditional Thai massage and medicine.
Khlong (canal) cruise
Boat ride through the Thonburi canals to see traditional wooden houses, local life on the water and small neighbourhood temples.
End of tour & drop-off
Transfer back to your hotel in Bangkok. Free evening – we’ll gladly suggest night markets, rooftop bars or massage places.
